Do Not Make Changes on the Property Without Informing Them

If you feel like you want to change the suppliers for whatever reason, make that call and discuss the matter with the landlord. Many times, they will allow you to change the supplier as long as you will switch back to the original provider when moving out. In addition to that, you are not allowed to replace or exchange appliances without seeking permission from the owner. If you make any changes without involving the landlord, you will be risking part or the whole of your deposit.

Tell the Truth About Kids and Pets

Finding a place with pets and kids is not easy. But this should not be used as an excuse to lie. What many people do not know is that that contract is binding and you can be sued if you go against it. If you moved in with children and pets without the consent of the landlord, they have the right to cancel your contract and kick you out. Some people assume that no one will ask you to vacate when you have children, but when the law comes in, the truth prevails.

After you start living in rented property, you have to take care of general maintenance. This means, clean regularly, keep tidy, do not damage walls, curtains, furniture, and carpets. Many people do not have an issue cleaning the house, but in case you are too busy to take care of the house, it is advisable to hire cleaning services or a domestic manager.

Be at Peace with the Neighbors

Some tenants are just nuisance, and they cannot live well with their neighbors. If you love having night parties and listening to loud music that is already troubling for your neighbors. If your neighbors complain about the same, you will be issued with a warning letter and depending on the response and seriousness of the bad behavior; your contract can be terminated. Living in peace with your neighbors is for the good of both of you. Imagine what would happen if you become sick at night and you do not have someone in the apartment you can call for help.
